Bioidentical hormone treatment is utilized to balance and/or replace hormones that are deficient in men and women. The term “bioidentical” simply means the hormone molecule is identical to hormones naturally occurring in physiology. The hormone attaches to the receptor site on the cell and functions properly as the naturally occurring hormone would function.
